I received a hand therapy referral from my PCP. I was skeptical about how this would help. After my first visit I am very grateful I made the appointment to see her! Her approach was hands on and she listened to where and when I had pain. It didn’t take long to put my treatment into action. Her techniques and education in conjunction with my hand specialist has honestly kept me from living with crippling pain. Her office is very clean and inviting. Scheduling is easy!

Self-care Awareness

Self-care is a doctrine of Occupational Therapy. Basic self-care covers everyday living skills such as bathing and dressing oneself. An extension to the traditional meaning of Self-care, self treatment techniques allow many patients to treat their own condition. Many conditions of the hand and upper extremities are initially treated through a prescription of self-care.
