Patient Reviews

Mary and Brian have definitely created the right environment! It's warm and welcoming from the time I entered the office. My session with Mary was informative about my hand issue. Mary asked lots of questions about how I use my hands, how my overall lifestyle affects my hands, including stress levels, and stress management. Everything really is connected! She prescribed some exercises and a splint. What I truly appreciated was that Mary listened attentively to whatever I said, and used that info to create a sort of holistic picture to recommend any treatments. I look forward to follow-up sessions!

Mary and her assistant Mark did a fantastic job in helping me regain pain free usage of my injured hand. Through a combination of personal education, home exercises and a custom split I was able to achieve remarkable results in a very short amount of time! I higher recommend her!!!

I came to Mary with a large full-thickness skin graft from a recent gender-affirming surgery, looking for help regaining range of motion and strength so that I could continue pursuing the adventure sports I am passionate about. I have only positive things to say about both Mary and Brian. Mary's depth of knowledge and experience was evident from my first phone call with her. She is friendly, understanding, encouraging, and compassionate, which made me look forward to each appointment with her.

Self-care Awareness

Self-care is a doctrine of Occupational Therapy. Basic self-care covers everyday living skills such as bathing and dressing oneself. An extension to the traditional meaning of Self-care, self treatment techniques allow many patients to treat their own condition. Many conditions of the hand and upper extremities are initially treated through a prescription of self-care.
