Lindsey Woodbury is an Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. She has 10 years in nursing and 4 years as a NP in a variety of settings. She has practiced in FL, AL and MI. She will be creating education content for Nurses and NPs in Hand and UE Ortho.

I enjoyed my time with UNE's second year OT students! We fabricated 3 custom orthoses for use with 5 orthopedic conditions. The student engagement was exciting. We hope this training advances their overall skills and interest in orthopedics/hand therapy.

This patient is progressing with her carpal tunnel. The scar sensitivity is resolving and she has better use of her right hand for activities.

Mrs. Valentine is re-learning hand coordination after a stroke left her right dominant hand paralyzed. Therapists refer to this activity as motor planning.

Mr. Day is progressing with hand therapy. The left hand burn scars are softening and allowing him to widen the web space so that he can eventually grasp a wider cup or container.
